BFSU Launches a German Center in Hefei

The German Center (Hefei) of Beijing Foreign Studies University was unveiled in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area on May 28. Song Guoquan, Hefei Party secretary attended the ceremony and met with Peng Long, president of the university before the ceremony.


Song Guoquan expressed his welcome to Peng Long and his delegation, and thanked the president for recommending presidents of Nuremberg vocational schools to visit Hefei.


He said that since the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between Hefei and the university, Hefei has actively implemented the deployment required by the central government for Sino-German cooperation and accelerated various work related.


The Party chief added that the opening of the BFSU German Centre (Hefei) is of great significance to the cooperation between China and Germany. It is also good for the university to expand its influence, and for Hefei to develop its education and upgrading its internationalization level. He hoped that both sides could work together to push the cooperation to a higher level.


Peng Long said that BFSU will make good use of its discipline and talent advantages to assist the leapfrog development of Hefei.
